The MightE Cadet category is officially recognised by Motorsport UK, meaning drivers can race at any Motorsport UK approved club or circuit.

The MightE Cadet British Title will be contested as part of The Kart Championship 2026, giving young drivers a true national platform to compete.

The MightE Cadet 12-month rental option is the most accessible way to get on the grid.

Perfect for families who want to test the class, keep upfront costs lower, or focus on driving without worrying about powertrain maintenance.

Designed and assembled in the UK and Ireland, the MightE Cadet powertrain delivers proven performance and reliability.

 

👧 Age Range: 7–12 (year of 8th birthday until end of 12th year)

Gearing

 

 

Gearing is fixed with the rear axle using a 63T 219 sprocket.

Chain lengths are typically 94–100 links, depending on chassis manufacturer.

The RCE Cadet chassis uses a 96-link chain.

 

 

Installation & Fitment

 

 

The simplest install is on the RCE chassis, but it will fit all other cadet chassis with very minor adjustments.

Most first installs take under 30 minutes with basic tools. Installation support is available.

 

 

Novice Mode

 

 

First-time karters can use our Novice Mode Dongle, which reduces power and top speed by 50% — helping build confidence on track.

 

 

End of Rental Options

 

 

At the end of your 12-month rental you can:

 

  • ✅ Return the powertrain with no obligation
  • 💰 Buy your unit outright at a preferential price
  • 🔁 Renew your rental for the following season
