Voltol EM-150 general operations step as,

1) Please connect Motor phase cables to the Controller. The Controller B+ to Battery B+, Controller B- to Battery B-. Recommend Battery voltage 72V (full charged voltage no more than 84V).

2) Controller E-Lock Cable to Battery B+ (DC 72V). It is better to put a switch between E-Lock Cable and B+, then you can turn ON/OFF power easily, safe for the operations.

3) Hand Throttle to Controller throttle plug. The controller was programmed for the motor already, Please contact them in the correct way, and then we can run.

4) Take care of every step, separate all cables, and do not touch each other. Double-check the cable connection before you turn the ON power. Turn on the power and engage the throttle, the motor will run.

Important: Please do not change the settings of the controller when the motor is rotating (spinning/running). If you want to change settings, stop the motor fully, change the settings, and turn OFF all power. Then turn ON the power again, and run the motor.
